A Thailand work permit application requires a Medical certificate to be issued by a doctor to certify that the applicant is free of mental illness as well as six prohibited diseases and conditions such as  Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Drug addiction, Alcoholism, Elephantiasis and 3rd-degree Syphilis.
